Ron Wilson is also known as Gitsgah

From the Eagle Clan, Wilson has been carving since 1962. He learned from Tim Pearson and was influenced by the Arts of the Raven exhibition held in Vancouver in 1967. Ron attended four years at the Vancouver School of Art and spent two years at the BC Provincial Museum. In 1970-71, he apprenticed with Henry Hunt in Thunderbird Park.
