Wen Zhengming (文徵明) (1470–1559) was a Chinese painter, calligrapher, poem and scholar of the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). He was a literati artist and was one of the Four Masters of the Ming Dynasty (明四家). Born Wen Bi (文壁) near Suzhou (苏州), he was later known by his courtesy name, Zhengming (徵明).
