Glen Wood was born in 1951 in Prince Rupert. His family is originally from the Frog clan, from the village of Gitanyow. Glen has studied at the Gitanmax School at 'Ksan, apprenticed with Philip Janze in silver engraving, and was encouraged to carve by Dempsey Bob. Glen Wood works as a carver, jewelry maker and executes silkscreen prints.
