Tall wooden figure (part a) standing on a circular base; the figure's arms are detached (parts b and c). Figure is wearing a beige police uniform with a black peaked cap and black boots. The uniform has a black belt, black cross-body strap, and two brown, green, and orange metal rectangles on the chest. Two metal buttons are below these rectangles, and three more buttons are on the centre of the figure's chest. There is also a button on the figure's cap. Four nails surround the figure's left shoulder. The figure's right arm (part b) originally extended down, next to the body, with the right hand open. The figure's left arm (part c) originally extended straight out from the body, with the left hand pointing.
Represents a colonial era officer.
Collected by Fred Haack in Tanzania. Acquired by the Kelowna Museum (now Okanagan Heritage Museum) in 1996.
