Description

Blanket woven with dyed dog hair. Composed of four small panels stitched together on the long edge. Off-white ground weave with dark grey-green dots, a mismatched column of X's, and two columns of zigzags on either side. Some of the dots have either red, blue, or pink included. Each end has bands filled with alternating zigzags of dark grey-green with colours like pink, yellow, blue, green and red. The short edges are uneven with some fringe.

Ground woven with hemp thread; pile and supplementary weft patterning made of cotton thread; reddish band at ends woven with dog hair that was dyed red.
