Description
Hide belt backed with red and white cotton gingham. Trimmed along edges with red and white beads. Central diamond and leaf pattern are made from dyed purple, red, yellow and blue quills. Gold-coloured metal buckle.

According to the donor, the belt was "purchased from an old Chief's wife" c. 1958, in Carcross.
