Carved tupilaq (tupilak). Hollow cone-shaped figure with two faces on the front; back splits into thin legs with small feet. Faces are stacked on top of one another. Top face is rounded and has square-shaped eyes with black pupil inlay; deep nostrils underneath eyes. Wide mouth carved in relief, filled with square teeth. Bottom face has square-shaped eyes with black pupil inlay. Curved lines overtop eyes and three lines extending horizontally from sides of eyes; round cutout nostrils below. Mouth is wide and partially open, filled with square teeth. Jaw of bottom face and feet along back form carving's base. Unsigned.

Carved tupilaq (tupilak). Standing human-like figure with a cone-shaped head, wide circular eyes, and black inlay pupils. Rows of curved lines above eyes, imitating eyebrows; three diagonal lines extend from outer sides of eyes, onto cheeks. Nose done in relief with deep and flaring nostrils. Figure has a wide, partially open mouth, filled with square teeth; chin juts out. Thin body has a long torso, short legs, and small feet; arms stretched and partially curved in front of body. Small human-like face extends from front of figure, with arms that point straight down. Face is rectangular with black inlay pupils; raised circles in between eyes, and diagonal lines extend from the sides, onto cheeks. Nose is short and wide, with cutout nostrils. Open mouth rounds out at the sides; filled with square teeth. Space between main figure's body and the second's is hollow. Figure's feet and second figure's hands and mouth form base of carving. Unsigned.

Hair Tie3097/65

Multicoloured fibre cord with a loop on the top and a large tassel ornament on the end. The cord and loop are light grey and white with dark and light shades of brown. The cord is decorated with diamonds in various shades of brown. A large light grey-brown tassel is attached near the bottom of the cord with orange fibre. Several wrapped cords (possibly extensions of the main cord ?) emerge from underneath this tassel. These cords are light grey, dark brown, brown-orange, light brown-yellow, and/or red and are mostly covered by the light grey-brown tassel. A smaller red tassel is attached to these cords with orange and light blue fibre. The cords extend through the red tassel and lead into four tassels, each a different colour: dark and light shades of purple and grey; white; dark and light shades of green-blue; and dark and light shades of pink. These tassels are attached to the cords with orange, light blue fibre, and/or dark red-brown fibre.

Hair Tie3097/66

Multicoloured fibre cord with a loop on the top and several tassels on the end. The loop has stripes of dark brown with brown-orange and light brown-yellow with grey. The cord is decorated with grey, brown-orange, dark brown, and light brown-yellow diamonds with white outlines. A grey and purple (mostly on the underside) tassel is attached to the cord with white fibre. Underneath this is a slightly larger light grey-brown tassel which is attached with orange-red fibre. Below the two tassels is a large tassel coloured in shades of red, which is connected to the cord with fibre of the same colour. The cord splits underneath the red tassel into three slightly thinner braided (?) cords of the same colours. Near the bottom of each cord are small tassels of different colours: the centre tassel is coloured in shades of pink; the others, in shades of green or yellow. Each of these three tassels is attached to the cords with light grey-brown and/or orange-red fibre.

Vase with abstract designs around body. Vase is somewhat cylindrical, tapering slightly to a shoulder. The shoulder, body and lip all have two ribbed lines. The vase has a short neck and flared lip. Left short edge of textile has a small amount of loose thread, acting as fringe; longer loose threads on right side, with green band stitched partway through them. Central panel has three rows of grouped, white wavy lines; interlocking white and olive green lines between rows. Embroidered dark pink curvilinear motifs, and pink and yellow flowers with green foliage motifs throughout panel. All green embroidery has silver metallic threads; visible from back of textile.

The centre is bordered by repeating squares with small white flowers and white bands with repeating light blue dots on dark yellow ground. Surface is glazed. Back of tile has 6 raised lines. Manufacturer’s mark, Minton Hollins Co Patent Tile Works Stoke on Trent No 2 Buff, stamped on ridges.

Square floor tile with quatrefoil foliate design. Surface is glazed. Dark brown square and quatrefoil designs on a yellow-beige ground, and red-brown foliage spandrel in each corner. The quatrefoil has a blue and white cross at centre with a red-brown lozenge. On the back, there are 4 rows of 4 circular holes. Manufacturer’s mark, W. Godwin Lugwardine Hereford, moulded in relief on the reverse.
