Stone ball.* Quartzite pebble ("ball") between a cylindar and sphere in shape. Ground around equator, with flat, highly polished, dark (basalt?) ends. Probably an abrader. Made from a quartz vein from a basalt outcrop (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
