Carved wood drum, cylindrical shape narrowing in centre. Open end in shape of a crocodile with open mouth. Sharp teeth, pointed snout with pointed ridges along back. Eyes outlined in red seed, fibre tie through open nostrils. Centre part has geometric band paintings and handle. Other end has stylized face with red seed eyes. The open end of the drum is covered with snake skin. Drum is painted white, brown, black and light brown.

Drum1187/26

A wood frame curved into a circular object and held together with metal nails. Skin has been stretched across and fastened to the frame with sinew. Five dangling metal pieces in three groups are attached to the wood sides underneath the skin.

Drum made from a cylindrical wooden frame. Skin is stretched over each end with strips of skin that run from end to end. The wood has bands of five incised lines alternating with two incised bands that run around the circumference, and the wood is varnished.

Drum composed of a carved wooden base, incised with lines in v-shapes around base and border of zigzag lines around top, and with a dark brown finish. The top of the drum is covered in stretched reptile skin. The rim of the drum base is smaller than the top circumference, and the base tapers inwards from the bottom rim, and then back out wider to the top of the drum.

Broad rounded three-legged drum has hide stretched and pegged around top. Long strip of twisted hide connects pegs and is wrapped once around each peg. At upper rim, held by twisted hide are three bamboo sticks with spiral painted notched ends, yarn wrappings around shaft have feathers, miniature bow, and animal snare. Burnt hole on either side and burnt line figures around sides include the following: two plants, snake, reptile, fire ?, and deer.

Cylindrical, tapered, hollow wood piece. The bottom third has been carved with geometric designs, the top has texture from the carving. The carved area is narrower than the top. The base has two points that the drum rests on. Fibre is tied around the bottom and halfway up.
