Rectangular piece of woven off-white cloth with red and purple embroidered decoration. Made up of two panels, handstitched in red up a centre seam, joined so that the two identical embroidered designs create one central rectangular depiction of two figures surrounded by birds. There is a small embroidered red bird in each corner of the cloth and the top edge has a red handstitched zigzag hem.

AMEC Analysis: Comments: This is a piece of fabric found at a depth of 10 feet. The fabric is the cuff and an additional eight inches from a pair of canvas pants. One fragment of cloth fabric, probably the hem of a garment. The fabric is a coarse weave. The hem is machine sewn. Grey dirt residue throughout, some engrained in fabric. Object is folded and stiff.
