Print of two figures with a large screen in the background. The print is the right half of a pair; it would be shown with N2.1168 on the viewer's left. Together they show a scene of three figures, with a large screen in the background. This part shows a male standing figure with his face tilted down toward a man kneeling on the right side. His left hand holds the right wrist of the man on the floor. The standing male is wearing a beige kimono. The man crouching down has his head turned upward, toward the other man; he is wearing a red-orange and brown-beige striped kimono. Signed 一陽斎豊国画 (Ichiyōsai Tokukuni ga) with a red circle known as 年玉印(toshidama-in). Above the signature are two black circle censor seals known as aratame-in (改印) or kiwame-in (極印) of 米良 (Mera) and 渡邊 (Watanabe). In the lower left corner, there is an oval black censor seal of シタ賣 (shita-uri) and below is a circular red seal. In the lower right corner, there is a vertically rectangular black seal of a publisher, 和泉屋清七 (Izumiya Seishichi). The print is made of two vertically rectangular pieces, creating a horizontally rectangular image overall.
One print in two pieces (parts a-b). The scene shows nine figures in a comical scene. Part a, the left half, shows a male kabuki actor, to the left of a flowered screen. The other side (part b), shows eight female figures, his fans, who are in the back at the right side with a screen separating them from the actor. The screen has two white and pink flowers, with yellow centres and green leaves, on a speckled off-white background; the panel stands in a brown wood frame. The male figure at the left is facing forward with his head turned toward the women behind the screen. He is sitting cross-legged and is wearing a robe with a beige and dark brown floral pattern on a brown background. The eight female figures are in various positions, wearing clothing that is red, blue, brown, and grey. The floor is blue-green; the background is off-white. In the upper left side (on part a), is the title: 獨息子に娵八人 (Hitori musuko ni yome hachinin), which appears in black on red, in a vertical rectangle. Next to the title is a poem by Umeya. There are two circular black censor seals below the poem. Signed 一勇齊国芳戯画 (Ichiyūsai Kuniyoshi giga), with a red outlined shape below. The print is made of two vertically rectangular pieces, creating a horizontally rectangular image overall.

Print of Mariko Station (#20). This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy." from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). Print is matted on a piece of white-yellow paper and has an additional cover page that folds over the print. A printed inscription on the cover page reads: "MARIKO Pictures of Western countires have no skies printed pink. Neither are there dark grey plum blossoms. We, however, catch the spirit of spring from this pink sky." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.

This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy." from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). Print is matted on a piece of white-yellow paper and has an additional cover page that folds over the print. A printed inscription on the cover page reads: “ TSUCHIYAMA Going from Seki, over Suzuka Pass, through Sakanoshita and over another pass again, one reaches Tsuchiyama and Minakuchi. Nowadays, this route is particularly beautiful during the maple season." There are Japanese characters at the top, bottom, and side of the printed message.
Volume III, titled "People", of a three volume set (with N2.1131, N2.1132). The volume has ten prints that illustrate various arts. All are wood block printed in basic colours of orange, black, green, white, and gold. Many pages are detached from the binding. Each print is preceded by a title page with central Japanese characters indicating what is depicted in the print. Translations are in pencil below these characters. The first print (part i) is titled “Sword Maker”. It depicts a household scene with an old man sitting on the front terrace dipping something into a bucket of water while inside behind him, there are six other people behind him, four who are around a fire and two who are sitting at a long rectangular bench. The second print (part a) is titled “Arrow Maker” (part l). It depicts six men making arrows: two inside a house, two kneeling on the terrace, and two outside. The third (part c) is titled “A Maker of Lacquer Work” (part b). It shows 5 people inside a house and one on an outer porch. All are performing tasks related to lacquer work. The fourth (part d) is titled “Carpenter” (part m) and it depicts six people involved in various aspects of carpentry. The fifth print (part e) titled “Tatami Maker” depicts seven people with two working outside on baskets and carpets, a woman on an outside bench caring for a child, a person carry water through the door, and the rest in the house. The next print (part f), “Embroidery Worker”, depicts five people with three women working around a table doing embroidery while a man is working on the right side on the top floor. Another man is appearing to doze while sitting on the bottom floor. The seventh print (part g) is called “Put on a Pattern” and it depicts nine people. Eight women are inside the house doing sewing work and one man is sitting on the outer terrace with a fan in his hand. The eighth (part j) is titled “Straw Worker” and it shows a man on a bed surrounded by hanging straw mats while a woman is carrying a bucket of water and a tray of food toward him. The last (part h) is called “Bag Maker with Fur” (part k). It depicts six people in a house with many animal skins hanging on the left wall. Three people are inside working with fur three are outside on the terrace, two men working on objects and another kneeling by their sides. Covers are parts n and o.
