Basket with rounded sides and base. The rim of the basket is supported by strips of bamboo that are bound to the sides of the basket with a strip of bamboo wound around the edge. A short strip of bamboo is knotted through the basket at the rim to serve as a handle.
Tall holder made from a section of bamboo stalk with one end split into strips and the strips evenly separated by stem that has been wound in between the strips as well as around a bamboo ring that supports the mouth shape from the inside. There is also a length of stem wrapped around three strips to form a triangular shape inside the top, and a loop on the outside. Another length of stem is wrapped twice around the base and tied in a knot. The holder is stained reddish-brown.
Rectangular, box-like basket with herringbone weave interior. Exterior ends are covered with thick strips of bark, while sides are covered with horizontal strips of reed.
A cylindrical basket with an open drawstring top. It is an open weave made from natural coloured materials. The drawstring extends out on both sides of the basket and each string attaches to a woven strap. A string is threaded through the bottom of the basket and each end attaches to a woven strap.
Bag woven from off-white and grey-brown palm leaf and red-brown bark to form geometric designs. Several fringes along top edge with two woven loop handles.
Roughly cylindrical basket that flares slightly from a round bottom to a round top (a); flat, fitted lid (b). Strips of wood and bark sewn together with and reinforced with cane. Outsides are covered with plaited straps and rigging for carrying.
Picnic basket (part a) style of a natural colour with two bail type handles attached with metal rivets. Has a lid (part b).
Rectangular woven basket (part a) with lid (part b). The basket (part a) has a purple and natural-coloured checker pattern along the upper portion while the lower portion has a geometric diagonal line pattern of the same colours. The lid (part b) has a central diamond design on the top with a checker pattern around the sides in purple, black, and natural colour.
A shaft carved with dark vertically linear designs above the second cane joint from the end. Shaft is bound at the end and the base with red and natural cane fibre. The arrow point is multi-barbed with carved splinters of bone which are attached by cane fibre wrapping to the point. The end of the shaft is notched.
Trap made from shafts of bamboo split into multiple strips and held together with bark strand lashings to form a cavity at the centre with two pieces of wood lashed across the bottom where there is an opening. A wooden float with tapered ends is attached to one side to act as a float. A second float (part b) is detached from the object.
