Beveled nephrite adze blade. The proximal end is broken. There are striations from grinding present on the entire surface. There are chips along the edge of the blade, presumably from use. Obsidian point with deep, broad side notches. The base is flat, and the margins are straight but somewhat irregular. Cross-section is lenticular. In plan-view, the point is assymetrical, leaning towards one side. It appears to have been manufactured from a portion of a much larger biface. J. Fisher 07/15/03
