Long dark brown coloured tubular lidded quiver (parts a-b). Both wooden and bamboo arrows (parts c-q) are feathered, and secured with skin and fibre. Quiver (part b) has been lightly tooled with curved line patterns. Arrowhead (part r) goes with arrow (part p).
Hooded coat (kalerak, or anorak) made of strips of scraped intestine. The body of the coat is made of vertical strips that extend into the hood. The arms are made of vertically sewn strips (vertical when arms are spread). The rim of the hood is lined with a cotton casing through which a thread is strung. The strips are sewn together with a dark blue cotton thread, thus accentuating the seams. A patch of intestine has been sewn onto the coat below the right arm. The bottom and the sleeves are trimmed with narrow strips of seal skin.
Pair of brown and off-white caribou skin mittens made from two pieces on the palm side, one large piece on the back of the hand as well as a rectangular piece across the base on the back of the hand, and another piece for the cuff.
Woman's inner coat, or parka, with a long tail, extended hood, and an elongated flap protruding from the hem at front; light tan colour. Fur inside. (Note: photo shows inner and outer coats together, A2.516-17.)
Pair of buckskin gloves. Leaf and floral pattern embroidered in red, green, pink, yellow and mauve; buckskin fringe on cuff. Convent style. Cotton lining. Machine sewn.
Gloves, or gauntlets, with rose design embroidered in orange, brown, red, green, gold and pink on outside. Red and green stripes on top of hand. Yellow-green satin damask lining. Machine sewn.
Hide mittens (part a-b) with fringe, decorated with a beaded floral design in red, green, blue, white, purple, pink, yellow, gold and orange on the top of the hand along with the top and bottom of the forearm. Pattern is the same on both parts.
Single, tan-coloured moccasin with a band of embroidery in red and green horsehair on the top.
Pair of moccasins with floral designs on the vamp in green, orange, blue and yellow beadwork on black velveteen. Black velveteen band at ankle. Cotton cloth forms a high cuff.
