Yellow, curved, horn covered with brown bands of vegetable fibre embroidery and raised linear borders. Thin outer brown leather is molded over thick skin. There is brown fibre twine tied to the neck.

Model baby carrier. A flat piece of wood that has a straight edge at one end and a fin-like protrusion at the other end. The long sides curve outward from end to end. There are two parallel rows of stitching down the centre.

Chilkat RobeA17007

Chilkat style robe with woven designs and long fringe. The design is a three panel distributive. In the centre are two ancestor faces surrounded by a diving whale(?) motif. The side panels have ancestors faces in profile and a raven motif. The design is yellow, blue and black on natural ground. The two bottom corners have two rectangles with zigzags in black and yellow, associated with the identity of the weaver. There is long twisted fringe, on three sides, of mixed wool and cedar bark. On the top edge are two red flannel tabs with buttons and buttonholes for securing the robe around the neck.

Rectangular wool blanket with feathers attached to one side. The textile is commercially made with a pattern in stripes of green, grey and tan, with geometric shapes. There are white and brown (eagle?) feathers sewn in four horizontal rows over the entire front side.

Gambling Game SticksA149 a-ppp

Leather pouch (part a) and sixty seven (parts b-ppp) bone game pieces. Pouch strap has an ornamental bone carving on the end. One piece (part b) has an inlaid abalone shell dot near the end and an empty hole on the opposite side. Forty five of the thin cylindrical bone sticks (parts c-uu) have incised lines around their centres. The other twenty one pieces (parts vv-ppp) are plain bone.

Hand sewn, white-grey children's moccasins with small, multicoloured beaded panels covering the vamp. Black and green woolen fabric is sewn onto the back of the heels and covered with white and red patterned beading. Long skin straps are sewn to each side of the moccasins.

Square apron with woven design and long fringes. Across the top edge is a dark blue band, the ends of which become long ties. The design is in the Chilkat style with an ancestor face in the upper centre and half ancestor faces in the lower corners. Other possible motifs include a bird and whale. The design is in yellow, green and black on natural ground. There is a long twisted fringe on three sides. The apron is made from commercial and hand spun wool and wool flannel.

A square wooden box (part a) with lid (part b). The sides of the box are bent to form a square, sewn together at one corner and nailed to a flat wooden base. There is an animal head design carved on all sides. The lid is uncarved, nailed together and fits over the sides of the box.
