BowlA8061

Light brown wood dish in the form of a flounder and inlaid with turquoise beads. The pupil of the eyes are beads surrounded by a carved circle in tapering oval. The open mouth shows eight bead teeth. The tail has two beads in a vertical line along the top. There are back fins, one at either side of the tail. There are twenty-one beads around the rim. Sixteen beads form a cross within the bowl.

KnifeB491

Long knife, or sword, with a bone handle. The bone handle curves to one side and is carved with a hole in the centre and a circular knob on the end. The handle grip is wrapped with tightly woven metal links and secured with overlaying wire. The base of the blade has a row of brass inlay dots extending towards the point; where the dots end, a swirl pattern cut through the steel begins. One edge of the blade tapers three times before reaching the point.

Metal disc with a lobed edge, oblong cut-out in the centre and raised designs on both sides. One side has a man in a cape carrying a bow and arrow, while the other side has two dogs sitting under a hay stack playing with an insect; parts of the designs are gilt.
