The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Thin sheet metal in the shape of a bivalve, hinged with a fold. Convex surfaces have many raised bumps. Small holes for suspension pass through both sides of the hinge.
A thin disc of yellow coloured metal with a border of embossed dots and an indent. One hole punched near edge.
A gold coloured bead, constructed by rolling from an oval of sheet metal; roughly ellipsoid in shape but with pointed ends that have small openings for stringing. The join is a simple overlap.
48 beads, alternating spherical and ellipsoid shaped, and five are large, globular beads which are very bright gold. 20 globular beads are smaller and duller. The beads range in diameter from 0.8 - 1.3 cm. and some are extensively tarnished.
Necklace made of green malachite mineral tube beads, metal triangular beads, and light brown and grey pearls. Ten triangular golden beads are alternated with cylindrical blue-green, stone beads. They are arranged symmetrically on either side of a central ornament which consists of a long stone bead terminated by two pearls and a golden disc. The ornament is connected to the necklace by two strands of irregularly shaped pearls. A single, hollow, golden spherical bead flanked by six pearls is centred above the ornament. Most of the stone beads are chipped or broken.
Two convex metal circles, one above the other, are connected by a folded strap of the same metal. A hole in the fold of the strap secures a handspun cotton yarn on which nineteen stone and shell beads are strung. The beads vary in size and shape. The colour range includes blue-green, yellow and red-purple. The metal object has traces of red pigment over the entire surface, inside and out.
A crescent-shaped blade with an elaborate shaft and t-shaped handle. The shaft has a low relief, frontal human figure (Janus) with upraised arms, set between the outer struts. The figure wears a fringed tunic and a casque-like hat, as well as ear and nose ornaments. Digits, shirt fringe and hat are incised.
Carved bone handle fitted with a metal blade. Hilt narrows from blade, broadens near end to form a small pommel. Both sides of blade sharpened and narrows gradually to slightly rounded point.
Two leaves of gold coloured sheet metal, roughly triangular, joined and folded at their apices. Both are mildly convex and the curved lower edges fit precisely when squeezed. There is a circular hole at the centre of the fold.
A finely worked, crescent-shaped blade with perpendicular handle which is square in cross-section and terminates in an animal head. The head has ears, whiskers and a snub muzzle with prominent fangs.
