Rectangular shaped manuscript leaf. Central section painted with four figures on horses holding mallets in one hand and a ball on the ground. The background is a stylized flowers and grass, with landscape and sky at the top. Script at the top and bottom of the image, and covering the reverse.

Rectangular parchment music sheet. Both sides have Latin inscription mainly in black with some red; three decorated initials, 'd' in blue, 'h' and 'm' in red on scrolled rectangular background of reverse colour (d on red, h and m on blue). Square notes are black; musical lines are red.

Folding paper fan with tan bamboo ribs. Both sides of the fan are covered with white paper and has a painted circular design on the front and back. A white plastic pin holds the ribs together at one end.

Folding fan with thirty-two inner ribs of split bamboo and two bamboo parent ribs. One side covered with white paper, the other covered with white paper with a faint blue band at top and bottom; sparkly surface and painted design of two fish in brown and black. Inscription near right edge of three characters in black and two seals in red. Rivet is black plastic.

Rectangular wooden box with a hinged lid and lock. Brass pieces nailed to the corners and sides are decoratively engraved with floral and avian designs.

Soft wood carving of a male figure (part a). Body and face are highly stylized and very squat. The oval eyes are bulging, the nose is relatively flat with wide nostrils, and the mouth is horizontally long. There are three curved diagonal grooved marks on each cheek, and on each side of the chest. Figure is dressed in a kilt-like garment, and is wearing a cap or a helmet with studs or knobs protruding. Arms are glued at an angle, poised in such a way so that they are holding a removable flute-like instrument (part b) which tapers to a point, and is two-stepped at the other end.

Pair of goatskin riding boots with uppers made of three pieces of reddish-brown leather. The soles consist of three or more layers of rawhide and leather sewn together as one unit, with the front and back of the uppers attached separately and the bottom of the soles still have fur on them. The seam at the back of both is reinforced by leather piping and the dark brown top edge of the upper is folded over and glued down. A pull strap is sewn into top of back leg seam. The top edge and outer sides are decorated by direct dying in black a complex circle and square motif.

Mouth organ consisting of 17 cane pipes, each with a free reed of thinner wood inserted around the circumference of flat side of black lacquered wooden container shaped like an elongated hemisphere, with a neck to use as a blowpipe. 13 pipes have 0.25cm. round hole and 2cm. split in cane; 4 pipes have neither hole nor split. Both neck and container have bone decoration, forming mouthpiece of neck and at bottom of bowl. Canes held in place by rattan strap.

Painted wood carving of 5 human figures standing in curved line facing outwards, mounted on a half section of a log. At each end of line is wooden post with human-like face at top, body not delineated, 5 Chinese characters painted on front of each in white. Human figures include (left to right), man in orange robe, man in white shirt and blue trousers, woman in yellow blouse and blue shirt, man in white robe, woman in yellow blouse and orange skirt. Number '736' stamped on back of log section.

Figure representing a person on a flat backing of white paper. Rear view of is depicted with the face turned to the left side of the figure which is made of cloth lightly padded to give a three-dimensional effect having each portion made of a separate piece of cloth with painted details. Hands are made of paper. Face is made of white silk. Wearing a large hat shaped like a rounded triangle with an apex at the top, and a scalloped rim of dark yellow linen, a loose grey-beige silk jacket, loose grey silk trousers, and yellow sandals. Two pieces of white flannel edged with light red-pink silk thread with a loop of the same thread at the top are sewn to the paper backing.
