The feet and crest on the head are rendered as step triangles. There is a series of lines from the back of the head around the tail. The bill is rendered as two opposing hooks. The plaque has two suspension holes in the upper corners.

There is an area on one side where the corroded surface has chipped away, exposing fragments of a gilded layer.
