Some painting on features; carved in a sophisticated style. Japanese calligraphy on the back; writing includes the name of a place: Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture (神奈川県鎌倉). Black wooden seated figure known as Ebisu (えびす; also written ゑびす/恵比須/恵比寿/夷/戎/蛭子) with a sea beam (tai, 鯛), a symbol of good fortune, under his left arm. Carved in a simple style. Normally paired with Daikokuten (大黒天) (N2.974).

Box (part a) and lid (part b) with red, blue, and white flowers. The box contains a small square platform (part c), a larger rectangular platform (part d), a round stool (part e), a silver painted bowl (part f), a solid cylinder with green, black, and red designs (part g), a red floral bowl (part h), a bowl with a solid green stripe (part i), a yellow and green striped bowl (part j), and a dark pink bowl (part k). Objects sit inside the box and are separated by a cardboard grid (part l).

Male and female dolls in bath (part b). Male has a white cloth on his head, which has a red stamp in the middle and blue lines on the edges. Female has black hair adorned with colourful flowers. There is a mirror on the top left corner of the back wall. All encased in glass (part c) and wood (part a).

Bear in standing position on all four paws with left paws more forward than their respective right paws. Eyes are glass. Head is tilted to the bear's left with mouth open.

Standing Buddha with flowing robes holding spherical object in left hand and with a red convex circle at the top of its head. Figure has short black spiky hair and is standing on a base (b) with a carved lotus ? motif design; inscription on bottom of base.

Center circular panel of bowl has three cranes in water an flowers. Smaller panels on the side are lobed and have human figures and landscape designs. Floral and arabesque designs decorated the whole of the bowl. All in polychrome on a green ground. Wooden stand.
