A wood bird (macao) (part a) with its wings (parts b-c) outstretched at an upward angle. Back and top inward half of wings are decorated with green circles surrounded by smaller mostly orange but some blue dots. Top outer half of wings painted black with a diagonal angle across. Wings edged with green. Black head has black eyes outlined with orange. Black, green, and orange dotted streaks on the chest. Wings made separately, nailed onto base.

Kanaga mask. Wooden ceremonial mask with a long vertical bar below that has two cross-bars tied on. Has rectangular cut out eyes, a thick brow above, and a thin, deep nose that connects to the chin area. Open work carving of outward pointing triangles at the neck. Painted with black and white chalky colour. (Cross-bar closest to head has been rotated since photograph, with arms now extending towards face.)
Mask surmounted by a bird and painted with dots and geometrics in natural ochre shades. The mask has downward pointing triangular cut out eyes, and is framed by a projecting three-ridged feature. There are small ear-like projections at the top sides of the lower face. The bird is frontal facing with a brown crest and is attached to the top of the mask at its feet. Paper label attached to interior.
Standing wood figure (ibeji). Head is capped with a bright blue pigment on the conical headdress. Cap is decorated with diagonal ridges. Seven tribal scarification marks on the cheeks, four of which are horizontal while the other three are vertically above the horizontal. Extended arms have hands touching thighs. Has very short legs in relation to body and the feet are large. Stands on circular pedestal. Beads around neck and hips. Covered with red camwood paste.
Black humanoid mask with red and white eyes and white, fang-like teeth; dark blue cloth hood attached to edge of mask, black wool thread on forehead and chin, and tribal scarifications on cheeks.
Mask depicting a horned figure painted black with one red and one white eye as well as a curved nose-like ridge running vertically down the centre of the face. The tips of the horns are painted white, and there is a red line running down each horn from the white tips.

Spoon carved from one piece of wood with a shallow bowl that has a pointed tip, a handle with a roughly circular tip, and designs in poker work featuring bands on the handle where it meets the bowl and a triangular shape at the bowl tip as well as two lines that border the bowl rim.
