Large bulb of percussion, thin edge.
Tan.
A gray, petrified wood, unstemmed, triangle point with a broken tip. T. Curtis-Flaherty, 3/3/98
Diamond shape cobble chopper, large flakes removed from one side (about 50% around edges) small flakes with one larger flake removed from opposite side. Bottom side has battering marks in the center. End opposite flaked removal shows signs of wear.
Arrow head. Locality: Quartermaster Harbor, Vashon Island, Wash. Remarks: Site 13.* One side of stem end broken; red color. *Information is from the original accession ledger.
Grey/beige chert.
Thin, dark brown, concave blade margins, broken tip and base.
Small, thin point tip. There is another projectile point with this exact number. It is entered as W1/13/2839-B.
Rose spring side-notched projectile point. White.
Chipped spear heads; leaf-shaped with convex base. Numbers of specimens in upper left hand corner -9 (8)- were entered by Frank Barnett, who checked the material in 1939, working as a volunteer. Original ledger number was 11.* Previous count of 9 on the computer, but only three in colelction. The three chipped stone tools are all chert, and probably from the Columbia River Gorge (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
