Paddle with a leaf-shaped blade painted black and a cylindrical handle decorated with bands of red pigment. The butt end of the handle is ornamented with a stylized carved crocodile head finial with a carved loop beneath the neck.

Carved wood drum with an hourglass-like shape. At the middle is a carved, rounded handle with two lines of diamond-shaped protrusions on either side; in between are bands of a repeated design that have a cowrie shell-like appearance. Each opening has a similar triangular design detail (crocodile?). One end of the drum has a carved rim.

A spoon made of coconut nutshell with a steep curve from the handle to the front, but with a fairly shallow bowl. The handle is short with a prong that has a raised three-armed decoration made from the natural features of the coconut nutshell.

Flute consisting of a large piece of loose skinned bamboo, bound with two sets of crisscrossing fibre and three cassowary feather rings at the top, middle and bottom. The stop of the flute is a carved kneeling man facing outwards with a crested bird standing behind him with its claws ? resting on the man’s head. The bird has a large extending crest on its head, long groups of feathers hanging from the side of its head and carved stylized detailing on its body. Both the bird and the man have cowrie eyes; the bird also has four tassels down the back. The figures and the fibre ties on the bamboo are covered in a black pigment.

Large crescent-shaped shell which is pierced at both ends where it attaches to a fibre strap. The shell has a 'mother-of-pearl' appearance underneath, and yellowed on top. The top has some natural holes, two distinctively side by side. The strap is of halves; the knot at the end of one passes through the loop of the other. The fibre is brown and decorated with cowrie shells on the lower parts.

Spear (a) with sheath (b). Spear (a) has a long steel lanceolate-shaped blade, shiny with some tarnish and etched lines echoing its shape. Blade is connected to a shaft by a corroded metal fitting. The shaft appears to be a broom handle wrapped with bark. At one end the bark has uncoiled. The black sheath (b) is two pieces of wood held together by five bands of metal wrapped and beaten together. Nose and eye shapes are incised into the wood to achieve a bird-like face. The narrow end is carved with a geometric design.

A bamboo tube, cut open half of its length, with a loop, collar, and binding of fibre at one end. The other end is undecorated. The wood hook is carved as a curved-billed bird. The whole is pigmented black, though worn off in patches all over bamboo.

A wide flat coiled bark belt with a pattern incised into the outside surface of the outer coil. The inside coil is entirely unadorned. The curvilinear pattern has human faces within the rounded borders of both ends. Lime white accents the pattern. Fibre and string run through a series of holes in one area. The belt ends are tongue-shaped.

Canoe prow with a large animal head with upward-sloping jaws or a beak at the front, an upper figure of a double-headed animal with a forward-facing face reminiscent of the larger animal's head, and a rearward-facing face with down-sloping jaws or a beak. Below this figure is a support with two incised and painted concentric circles. The geometric designs and facial features are emphasized with black, light pinkish-brown, and white pigment.

A horizontal wood element of wood stained dark brown and carved to two pointed ends with a repetitive pattern underneath. Bird-like heads dominate both ends. Legs are of bamboo cut and wrapped around the horizontal, then bound with fibre to form two a-shapes.
