A spoon that has a long handle finial of green jade. The metal part of the handle is twisted, and the bowl has a Maori-like figure in relief. Hallmarks include "L&S", an anchor, a lion, an "X", and a "6".

The cloth is rectangular with an elaborate border and black and white geometric panels. The outside border has three parts. The first part, closest to the edges, is a solid black line. The second part is a red line containing natural coloured sunbursts. The third part is made up of three lines, two black lines and one white. The geometric panels are made up of black and white designs including chevrons, diamonds, squares and diagonal lines. Two sides have a cut fringe.

Wide sword-shaped brown-black wood club. 'Blade' has geometric designs of vertical zig zag lines bordered by concentric semi-oval lines at either side emphasized with white pigment. 'Blade' flares outward to a flat blunt end that has holes with knotted string. The 'grip' flares outward to a sideways sigma design. 'Pommel' and end knob 'button' both have a horizontal zig zag line band around their base.
