Figure representing a papyrus column with a cylindrical shape that flares out and then tapers back inwards to a point at the tip. Four bands incised near base. Several zigzag lines near pointed tip.
Light orange damask skirt panel (part b) with tiny pleats and embroidery. Across the top is a wide cotton waistband with three frog fasteners. A white string is attached to a loop on the waistband. The orange damask is woven containing large peony motifs. On the edges of the skirt are scalloped borders with a floral motif in red, yellow and green on a ground with dark blue trim. On the front and back are xiezhi?, phoenix, peony and mountain motifs in pink, red, gold, green and blue. The inside is unlined.
Black coloured stand with scalloped rod on back with two narrow curved feet. Perpendicular to the back rod, there is a shorter scalloped rod that attaches to the decorative front piece of the stand. It has a wide U-shaped curved top and has scrolled feet that curve inwards at the bottom. Stand is for plate (N1.359 a).
Bead depicting the sacred eye of Horus (Uzait Horu) with two black lines above the eye, a line extending out from the side of the eye, a curved line with a curled tip extending diagonally out from the bottom of the eye, and a band of ridges extending down from the bottom centre of the eye. A hole pierces through the figure from side to side.
