On left is an elephant-headed male, Ganesha, in a yellow dhoti seated on boulder by the shore. He holds four objects, one in each hand: broken piece of his white tusk, long-stemmed gold axe, gold noose and yellow ball-shaped sweet. All figures wear jeweled gold crowns. Rectangular calendar print depicting three gold figures, Shiva and Parvati with their son Murugan. Flanked by two ornate blue grey columns in blue grey background. Large four-armed Shiva on left and Parvati on right are seated on either side of a small Murugan standing on pedestal. All wear: jeweled gold conical crowns and extensive necklaces; striped yellow, green, white and pink floral garlands over shoulders. Shiva wears white dhoti and is seated on gold-pattered green robe. He holds one gold object in each in two upraised hands: prancing deer and long-stemmed container with axe-like projection at side. Two remaining hands are held with palms facing outward. Three white horizontal, parallel bands and red dot on his forehead. Parvati is in pink sari, holds gold flower in her right hand. Central male in blue dhoti holds gold lance upright, gold flower in each hand and white band motif on forehead and lance head. A conch shell with gold ends sits on a silver pedestal flanked by two silver chalices. 'N.V.S.' and Indian script in green, red, white, and yellow at calendar top; 'N.V. Shanmukam & Co.' in pink and purple Indian script at base.

Smiling, blue grey-skinned Rama wearing a floral garland, yellow dhoti and a blue wrap with his arm around the waist of smiling Sita in red sari; both seated on pink-cushioned gold throne with high-arched backrest surmounted by green/red/gold umbrella. Rama has his left hand raised, palm facing out; touches index finger and thumb together. Sita holds red flower in raised right hand. The couple is flanked by four figures, two on each side. Standing behind and at sides of backrest, male on left in green and gold garment is holding a flywhisk and bow. Kneeling in front of Rama is Hannuman wearing a red, green and yellow wrap around his waist. His palms are raised and reaching out. On right, is Lakshmana wearing a green cloak and yellow pants places palms together out in front while facing couple. He carries quiver on back and bow at shoulder. All figures wear gold crowns. Advertisement in yellow bands top and base for 'A.M. BalaKrishnan Chetti & Co.' printed in Indian script. Framed.
