From card: "Round baskets, tapering slightly inward toward flat base of plain plaited weave in flat cedar-bark strips, while sides are in wrapped twining on very thin strips. One [E395520-0] has design in purple of whales and men in boat, while other [E395520-1] is just green and red horizontal bands. One slightly damaged."

From card: "Gift of Mr. Deasy, 1925. Flat backed, black slate, on rectangular base, carved into 3 relief figures - at bottom a long tongued man surmounted by a frog-faced man holding a half-moon on knees and topped by a vulture [sic]. Not well polished."

From card: "Of black fine grained slate, slightly concave plain back, 3 animal figures carved in relief on front - one with speckled belly on bottom, surmounted by a beaver with cross-hatched tail and carrying logs in arms, topped by a raven. Donor collected this and next 1890 and considered them contemporary, but are well done and polished."
