SpoonK2.310

A metal spoon that has a round bowl with a handle that is covered with ovals, dots, and lines in a symmetrical relief design. The wide handle has a main design that consists of five pairs of side-by-side, horizontal ovals in decreasing size from top to bottom. Each pair of ovals is connected by an upraised horizontal line across them. At each corner and in between each pair of ovals, there is a dot, creating six dots around each pair to total thirty dots. Another upraised horizontal line across separates each pair of ovals, all of which are bordered by an upaised vertical rectangle with perpendicularly incised lines across its flat edges. The base of the handle next to the bowl of the spoon has a diamond shape with a rounded circle at the centre surrounded by tiny dots and bordered by an outward pointing upraised line at either side with horizontal incised lines across its flat edges. Antique.
