Knife841/4 a-b

Ulu type knife. Part a is the metal ulu with part of the bone handle attached. Metal is very corroded. Part b is the larger bone handle which is completely detached. There are matching old attachment holes in both parts of the handle.

Line Marker Tool841/3

Rectangular block of wood with a tetra-foliated basin and rectangular hole cut through from top to bottom on same side. Bottom has a cut out arch corresponding with the cut through area; a wheel is set into cut through area with a metal crank handle. Thin thread is wrapped around wheel a number of times; holes are through wall between wheel and basin and opposing wall of basin through to outside surface. Remnants of a black ink and fibre are in the basin.
