Rectangular grass mat of fine regular weave. The mat has a large border around all sides in purple on a natural-coloured ground. The border has many bands ranging in thickness and motifs. The outer band has a geometric motif. The middle band has a floral motif. The band closest to the centre has a pair of elephants on one end and horses on the other, all facing inwards. The centre is without design. Long weaving threads are tied off at one end.

A deep round clay pot on a pedestal base. Rim has radiating grooves cut all around and a ring coloured brown. White sides are interrupted by two raised brown wavy horizontal lines and eye-like patches. White ends in a wavy pattern, below which, there is brown. Brown darkens near the bottom of pot and on the pedestal. Inside the bowl and in the hollow of the base, there is black from staining or burning.

A deep wood scoop with parallel handle ending in a knob. Carved lines on the scoop curve from the mid-point to the base of the handle, joining at a human-like image. Stained black.

Canoe prow that tapers from the concave back to a rounded point at the front where it is carved into a crocodile-like head capped at the nose with a rounded point at the tip. Behind this is a carving of a head with notched rows along the forehead, large eyes and a recurved beak-like nose. The underside is carved with geometric and scale-like designs, and the surface is stained dark brown.

Carved wooden yipwon (hook figure) set in a concaved rectangular piece of wood. There are three hooks, two pointing one direction the other one pointing towards the others. In the centre there is the base of a hook which appears to have broken off. Both of the edges are carved from high to low in opposite directions giving a slightly twisted look to the piece.

A solid wood stick tapering from a thick use-worn butt to a point at the other end. A wavy, eye-like pattern is carved along the narrow half and is separated from the undecorated butt end by two encircling grooves. The design is stained black on the raised parts and pigmented grey in the incisions. The undecorated wood is light brown.

Papier-mache mask of woman's face. The face has the following facial features: prominent red coloured lips that are outlined in black, a pointed nose, eyes and eye brows outlined in black, a round jaw line, and protruding ears decorated with round yellow painted earrings. The woman wears a raised yellow painted crown that is decorated with white, light brown, red and green linear designs. There are white dotted circular designs on each cheek and in the middle of the woman's forehead.

Leather cut-out shadow puppet representing Surgriva, the Monkey King. The figure is a monkey with red skin dressed in military costume with a twisted black and white turban, thick red, black, and natural brown coloured necklaces, and chest ornaments from which a large red heart shape is suspended. Has sharp fangs, a striped moustache, and beard. Four moveable limbs. Feet are not matching. One foot (part b) is detached, has five toes, and an anklet around its red skin. Colours also include green.

Shadow PuppetEf226 a-b

A shadow puppet of leather cut out, representing a female figure; dyed black and two shades of red. Costume (part a) is elaborately patterned with black vertical stripes alternating with bands of tiny black incised flowers. Both arms (part a) are jointed at shoulders, elbows, and wrists. Removable head (part b) with a profile face, a nose pin, and numerous flower decorations with an elaborate headdress, does not appear to be matched with the body, which is older, and of a more intricate style. Jointed feet also appear to be replacements.

Small drawstring bag of black hand-woven cotton in plain weave. Geometric motif is embroidered in contrasting colours of white, purple, and yellow which closely follow the warp and weft of the fabric. Lined with black mill cloth. Machine seamed. Hand sewn to finish. Drawstring of three-strand, twisted cotton in red and white with orange cotton tassels.
