Long, narrow gray-brown bag. The bag is made of machine-made cotton fabric and hand-stitched on two sides with an opening at one end. There is a flour company label on inside and a Cantonese opera company label on outside in Chinese characters.
Long thin band with floral pattern in purple and white on green ground. The band is padded, roughly machine stitched and bound on three sides with black bias tape.
Bright pink collar of fine hemp with brass frog closure. There is blue braid and white trim around the edges. The back lining is white cotton.
Blue two piece hoop belt (part a-b) with gold meander design. The rectangular pieces are curved. The fabric and lining are sewn over a wooden centre. The lining is blue cotton.
Multicoloured cotton skirt with an open back and a tie closure at the waistband. Skirt is made from two identical panels, overlapping at centre front, attached to a wide, unbleached cotton waistband; panels are made from strips of blue, white, purple, green, red, and yellow fabric, separated by gold metallic braid-like ribbon.
One piece black skeleton costume (part a). The complete skeletal frame is painted on the front and back in white. The costume covers the head, arms, hands, and legs. There are slits for the eyes, nose and mouth on the front and back. There is a centre front opening with three ties. N1.856 b-c are costume slippers that are worn over shoes to complete the costume.
Pair of matching ornaments. Slender bamboo shaft, supporting a raccoon tail, encircled at bottom by a row of gilded cardboard petals, with silk pompoms wired to them. Below this, another circle of gilded petals, supporting a silk fringe. Colours are brown, white, turquoise, orange, pink, gold, and blue. Fringe on (a) is blue, on (b) white.

Part (c) has two tabbed ends. The fabric is fixed over a wooden centre. The blue sequins form flower motifs on an ecru ground. The lining is green with a red and orange geometric pattern.
Blue three piece hoop belt (part a-c) with embroidery. The rectangular pieces are curved and fit together. Part (a) has leather tabs folded back on both ends. Part (b) has two straight ends. Part (c) has one leather tab folded back and one wooden tab. The fabric is fixed over a wooden centre. The front has prunus, peony, double gourd, flute, fan and scroll motifs on a royal blue ground. The back lining is royal blue cotton.
Silk-screened red and black halibut with an octopus design. The halibut is in profile and facing to the right side with two black ovoid eyes. The halibut's open mouth has a red tongue with a red split u behind the mouth and red u forms above. There is cross shape behind the mouth with a black split u. The lower half of the halibut has a four-notched black line, black ovoids, and a double-notched split u that has cross hatching within. There are four black split u's along the lower half of the halibut's body. Along the upper half of the halibut's body, there arefour red split u's surrounded by black u forms with a black split u at the end. The tail has a black ovoid, a red split u surrounded by a black u form, and a a black split v. The red octopus is in the upper half of the halibut. The octopus has a circle in a circle eye and five thick tentacles with split u's of various designs within. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads '98/195 19/1/76 - HALIBUT - Roy H. Vickers TSIMSIAN TRIBE KITKATLA B.C.'. The print is on a horizontally rectangular, off-white paper piece.
