Head RingA4234

Head ring made from woven cord backed by red cloth with four large, square pieces of abalone shell attached around the outside at evenly spaced intervals. Ermine pelts line the top of the ring. Two cords crisscross the top of the ring at right angles, with a large cedar bark tassel attached at the centre.

Neck RingA4233

Tightly knitted cover of red string sewn over a core of cloth. Long tassels of orange-red string knotted on the ends are sewn to the ring in four places that are relatively equally spaced. Oval in shape.

Brown wood whistle that is semi-oval in cross section and comes to a tapering end and is bound with cedar bark around the middle near the wider end. While the wider end is solid, there is a hollow through the tapering end where there is a taper cut rectangular hole nearby on the flat side.

Model paddle with a fish depicted on one side of the blade, and bird on the other. On the same side as the bird design the hand grip is painted red and the pointed tip of the blade is painted orange-brown. On the same side as the fish design, the handle grip is painted with red stripes.
