Meyers 7/8/03 From "Descriptive Catalogue of Petroglyph Prints for the University of Washington, from The Dalles Dam Resevoir, 1956." by Mark Hedden: Round headed monster with very indistinct features, though mouth appears in wide leer. Petroglyph rubbing on long fiber tissue paper with brown ink. K. Meyers 7/10/2003 From "Descriptive Catalogue of Petroglyph Prints for the University of Washington, from The Dalles Dam Resevoir, 1956." by Mark Hedden, in Archaeology Archive: A small round head some distance to the left of the "Watermonster" though on the same face of rock. Eyes are shown as dots enclosed by an outline which looks very much like a pair of goggles, with straight sides along the inner edges. This design also appears elsewhere as a characteristic treatment of the eyes. An unusual feature of this head is a long snake tail or body which winds above. Two minor offshoots or appendages diverge on either side of the snake tail just before it joins the head. (compare with Pe 50)
