This area is outlined with twining and then the warps are split into smaller pieces and double strand twining resumes, but as much finer work. There is a row of triple strand twining, after several rows, and then the warps are split again and two strand twining continues. The bottom rim is finished with a row of triple strand twining followed by four rows of double strand twining, and then another row of triple strand twining. There is a fitted hatband inside hat with a cotton string sewn through it.

Rectangular, coiled basket (a) with fitted lid (b), foot, and two handles at opposite ends (parts c-d, currently broken). Bundle and slat foundation and split stitching. Geometric design imbricated in dark red-brown and light red-brown on body. Light red-brown beading on lid, foot and on handles.

Rectangular, coiled storage basket with foot; lid with looped handle on each end. Constructed of slat foundation and split stitches. Completely imbricated with light yellow-brown grass background and black and red geometric cherry bark design. Fitted lid has cherry bark beading in red-brown and black on top. Edge is imbricated.

Coiled, rectangular basket with slat foundation and split stitching. Sides are completely imbricated in light yellow-brown and black deep "v" design. Lid is attached to basket with two long hide thongs. Coiled rectangular lid fits over coiled rim. The lid is imbricated on the edge and beaded on top, in rows of red and light yellow-brown.

Round coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches) with loop work around rim. Watch-spring construction. Fully imbricated with light yellow-brown grass. Animal designs, three black and four4 red.

Cradle constructed out of rounded rectangular coiled cedar root basketry. The cradle is formed by an elongated shape with a rounded top end and an angled foot with squared corners. The sides have a bundle foundation with split stitches and are completely imbricated with light yellow-brown grass and red and black cherry bark in a geometric design forming 11 wide v's joined by wide multicoloured bands. The bottom has a slat foundation.

Rim of lid has light yellow-brown and light red-brown beading. Bottom has slat foundation.

Blue thread is fastened to one side. Part (b) Lid of slat foundation and fits inside basket. Cherry bark beading on lid, with black beading on rim.

Small basketry baby carrier, or cradle, with coiled construction and slat foundation. Rim is imbricated in black cherry bark and brown grass. Sides are beaded in light yellow-brown grass in two rows of coils around front half of cradle and red cherry bark along sides and front. Cloth loops are fastened inside with thread on both sides.

Short, cylindrical basket (a) with lid (b). Rim is twined; cedar bark flange looped with cedar bark warp strands. Sides are grass wrapped twining. Cedar bark and grass base, plain twined with checker work centre. Design has geometric motif around middle of basket in purple-blue, yellow and purple. Seven concentric bands at bottom in purple, yellow, and red-purple. The lid is wrapped twined grass with geometric design of sunburst circle at centre in dark purple, green, orange and purple. Geometric motif between centre design and edge, in blue, purple, yellow, and red-purple. Rim has seven concentric bands of blue, purple, yellow, red-purple, and purple-blue.
