The lid is peaked and encircled with bands of a brown, purple and green leaf-like pattern. Dark pink from top to bottom.

Light brown Nuu-chah-nulth style model canoe with red trim, black accents, a red interior, and a bird-shaped, protruding bow. The interior of the canoe has several inscriptions in black marker and pencil.

Long Nuu-chah-nulth style canoe with eleven thwarts that cross the opening and ten plank seat that are each located just to the side of a thwart, near the bottom of the canoe. the bow and stern both have upward protruding parts that are painted white; outer side has black band below the top edge. (Part b is a replacement twart that is not attached to the canoe.)

Colour on bottom of mat is more vibrant than colour on top.
