Two holes in the sides of the foot opposite each other. Some of lower wall and foot are fire darkened.

Shallow dish with wide rim and tall, pedestal foot. Sides of foot are decorated with alternating up and down perforated triangles. Parts of rim are fire-darkened; surface is polished.

Attached to ivory handle is a five-ridged cylindrical metal piece that attaches to the inner knife blade (part a). The sheath or blade covering (part b) is wooden, dark-brown, has three bands of metal evenly spaced on the outside, and has a wide and upturned opening where the blade is inserted.
