Large round coiled basket (bifurcated stitches), watch-spring base construction. Imbricated design of eight pointed star in red and dark cherry bark for points and checkerboard middle of red cherry bark and cat-tail grass (?).

Part (a) Small round coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with foot and lid part (b). Watch-spring base and lid construction. Lid has indented slat flange. Imbricated pattern of vertical rows of six alternating black and red cherry bark chevrons. Same pattern on lid of five vertical rows of four alternating chevrons.

Cylindrical coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with foot. Fully imbricated in continuous horizontal wide zig-zag bands alternating between red and dark cherry bark with thin border of cat-tail grass (?) between. Foot continues the same configuration with just the points of the zig-zag.

Pipe holder consisting of a square basketry mat with rounded edges, three rawhide loops attached to top for hanging. There are also two parallel strips of rawhide attached across the surface with open loops to insert objects. The mat portion is very finely woven (approximately eight rows/inch) with squared-off watch-spring base construction and an overcast edge. Decorated with partial imbrication; three nearly diagonal rows of cat-tail grass, black-dyed and red cherry bark. The designs are six-sided figures. The rows are not quite diagonal because of the angular turns in the weave. Diagonal corners have what look like flower figures in each corner.

Cylindrical coiled basket (bifurcated stitches)with foot and remains of looped border. Watch-spring base construction. Imbricated with two rows of geometric scroll design in solid lines of black and red cherry bark with cat-tail grass (?) between. Bottom of foot is beaded in red cherry bark.

Round, flared coiled basket (bifurcated stitches)with watch-spring base construction. Rawhide tie at one side. Imbricated design of two staggered rows of diamond figures. Lower row has large diamonds outlined in dark cherry bark, cat-tail grass (?), red cherry bark, repeated three times. Upper row of slightly smaller diamonds are outlined in dark cherry bark, cat-tail grass (?), red cherry bark, and dark cherry bark at center.

Urn shaped coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches) of watch-spring construction. Imbricated pattern of alternating diagonal lines of red and dark cherry bark, with triangle shapes in between, also alternating in red and dark cherry bark with cat-tail grass (?).

Kidney shaped basket (bifurcated stitches), with four sides, which narrow to small opening with attached lid. Parallel splint base construction. Fully Imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) background with vertical stripes in red and dark cherry bark. Same configuration on lid. Bottom row of red cherry bark beading at base. Rawhide handles attached at back, tied with fibre string.
