One side has a circular depression inside the rectangular area, with small holes drilled through the bottom; the corresponding spot on the other side has a circular protrusion with a metal nail(?) in the centre. The round wooden handles have traces of red and dark beige paint near the ends.

Spout on one side, handle on the other side. Inside of teapot and top of round lid are glazed in the same pattern. Lid has a small knob on top.
