Shawl composed of black fabric with bands of dark red running the length near the edges. The shawl is embroidered with multicoloured vertical bands of floral and geometric designs as well as humanoid figures and bird figures. There is also an inset band of multicoloured woven losenge designs near each end, and each end is finished with a fringe.
A flattened sphere divided horizontally with the equal parts forming the container (part a) and the lid (part b). The bottom has a recessed flange to fit within the lid. The container has a light brown body, burnt red-brown in firing with a grey-brown interior. The container is thickly potted with an overall appearance of matte translucent colours. The bottom has a shallow incised pattern of double vertical lines enclosing inverted lappets at top, with all lead enamelled in thin bright yellow-green which splashes over low foot rim. The top has a shallow incised diamond pattern, yellow-green, on which is superimposed four equally spaced bright yellow cloud motifs. The central medallion pattern suggests landscape, with a superimposed hare, and all lead enamelled in light purple-grey-brown. Paper label reads: "10 lj 6."
A ceramic plate which has a broad bottom, and sides curving up sharply in a cavetto terminating in rounded edge. Set on low, sharp, flaring foot. Glazed base has double red overglaze enamelled ring in centre. Grey-white porcelain body, glazed over all in white. Interior has phoenix and cloud forms on bottom. Aunning pattern of daisy-like flowers, with peony type leaves, is on the cavetto. A diamond trellis pattern just beneath edge. Exterior has a similar running floral pattern. All motifs outlined in red and all enamelled over the glaze.
A ceramic dish that has an angular form with steep, slightly flared sides. There is a small splayed foot and a grey-white body. Unglazed foot rim and base, which is convex with small point. Glazed inside and out with thick, opaque, white glaze which has formed a raised welt around the circumference of the dish a short distance below the rim.
Jar with slightly rough brown-green glaze that stops just before the foot, rounded sides with vertical,elongated, indented areas emerging from the neck and base. The jar has a short foot and neck, with a slight lip at the mouth.
Box made of clay with base (a) and lid (b) that both have ten side panels. Both the lid and the base are glazed with dark grey and blue-grey triangular and leaf patterns bordered by lines on a light blue-grey ground. There is a small peak at the centre of the lid. The glaze is iron-speckled; the foot rim and base are unglazed, and there is a pontil mark on base; the box is glazed inside, and the lid is not. Junctions of panels marked by double lines in underglaze iron black.
A small glazed ceramic dish whose form curves up sharply from an unglazed foot. The base is recessed. The coarse body is a light yellow-brown where exposed. Glazed translucent and mainly clear, tinged with grey-green but pooling occasionally to a blue. Exterior is plain. Interior has floral and foliage motifs painted in underglaze blue, the whole enclosed by double blue lines at the junction of bottom and sides. A single blue line runs beneath the rim.
A ceramic bowl that has a form which swells gently from a shallow unglazed foot to an everted lip. White porcelaneous body. Interior is decorated in white slip with lotus panels, each containing a motif, obscured by the translucent pale blue-grey glaze which pools heavily over them. Pools in bottom centre have some grit incorporated. Exterior is plain under the glaze. Close to foot is an adhesion of unglazed clay.
Small white vase with a splayed base, ovoid body, narrow neck and trumpet mouth. The interior base is hollow and unglazed, burnt red in firing. The vase is creamy white with iron speckles overall and a moulded pattern of key frets with k''uei dragons superimposed, above and below a raised centre band.
Pear shaped pouring vessel with flat narrow shoulders and short vertical lip which probably indicates a lid once existed. A flat unglazed base. Slightly grey-white somewhat coarse body, covered to the base with an unctuous, crackled, translucent pale grey-green-blue glaze. Small handle and spout opposite one another. Sharply moulded phoenix motifs placed one on either side.
