Upper half of basket is fully imbricated in grass with geometric mirrow image 'c' shapes, double outlined in dark cherry bark. Lower portion of basket is beaded in vertical rows of parallel bands alternating in grass and dark cherry bark ("cluster of flies" pattern). Skin loops on one side in each corner, two remaining knots on opposite side and short side.

Rectangular flared coiled work (bifurcated stitches). Parallel splint base construction. Upper half fully beaded on three sides in repeated horizontal bands alternating between cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark. Fourth side has three vertical bands of "cluster of flies" (checker board stripes), two in cat-tail grass (?) and red cherry bark, and the middle row in dark cherry bark and cat-tail grass (?). Lower half has sections of vertical lines, with plain coils between, of cat-tail grass (?) and red cherry bark in same alternating checkerboard pattern. Rim is imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) with alternating intervals of red, and black cherry bark stitches. String ties on all sides.

Lower half has imbricated short diagonal bands, alternating between red and dark cherry bark.

Fully imbricated cat-tail grass (?) with horizontal parallel bands in dark cherry bark that separate vertical rows of connected triangles, also in dark cherry bark, flanking a red cherry bark center line. Rim of lid imbricated with alternating double stitches of red and black cherry bark on cat-tail grass background. String hinge.

Hand basket built with simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches), a parallel slat base construction, over handles connected to the basket by loops, and a cross-stitched rim. Wide chevron design in checkered off-white bulrush, black and red. Same colour sequence on bottom rim.
