Two clear glass bottle with prescription finish and salamander oval profile. Mold seams are 2 vertical seams running from cup-mold base to 1/4" below finish. Embossed Maker's Mark: 586 Grey/brown residue on interior and exterior with accretion of same on interior. Red/brown residue on interior. Some iridescence on exterior surface. L. Penttila 3/29/2010 Bottle was broken where the shoulder meets the neck during cataloging at the Burke Museum. Bottle was standing upright on a table when the table was bumped causing the bottle to fall over and break. K. Meyers 06/17/2010

Base is similar to crown oval and monarch or erie oval bases with three straight sides and one curved side connected with rounded corners. Mold seams include: horizontal cup-bottom mold seam at heel with two side seams extending up to finish. Dried substance and some iridescence inside.
