One piece of frayed cedar assigned 45KT20/227.1. This object and the objects labeled 45KT20/227.2 were found together with 2 previously attached tags labeled "227 / 4S3-1" and "(D.)" on the back of one. Field Catalog Form indicates the provenience as: Unit 4S3, Level 1, Description "Flayed [sic]cedar; 5 pieces constricted twigs; one knot of charred wood; one pieced [sic] bone; one QS; single, burnt reed." A. Auerbach, 02/02/2010 (Note: Only four twigs and the frayed cedar have been located. No charred wood, bone or single reed. Burke staff is unsure what "QS" describes. I. Ostericher 04/05/2011)
One piece of 2-strand twisted cordage. Small fragments are beginning to flake off from the material. Appears to have sediment in the fibers. Field Catalog Form lists the provenance as Unit 2S2, Level 5 (revised) and description as "1 large and 1 small frag braided reeds". This small fragment is associated with large frag 45KT20/109.1. Rectangular clay slab with rounded corner and 8 additional clay fragments. Largest piece has irregularly spaced lines less than 1 cm in length each, approximately 20 lines. One fragment, that appears to be half of a slab, has a geometric design on it. Field Catalog Form only indicates the provenience as: "Surface, Description: One rectangular clay tablet & 4 fragments, Associations: Rock shelter." No notes indicate when the clay tablets were broken into 8 fragments. 1/28/2010 A. Cohen
8 pieces of wood from C-14 Sample No.6 with previous label 45-KI-8 398. Find #398 in the Field Catalog Form lists provenience as: Unit 3S3, Level 2, L Bag, with description: "Wood, bone." Item is related to 45KT20/398.2 which is a small chert scraper. 04/26/2011 I. Ostericher
Petrified wood flake with gray, tan, and red banding. 45-KI-8/243 is written in ink on one side. Petrified wood flake cataloged as 45KT20/243.1 and 2 pieces of cedar (1 not located) cataloged as 45KT20/243.2. Field Catalog Form: "3 pieces wood cedar; petrified wood flake." A. Thickpenny 1/21/2010
Two cordage fragments; One big cordage and one small cordage. Student thinks they belong to each other. Small fragments beginning to flake off from the material. One end of the big cord has a 7cm secondary twisted fiber rope running through the braids 3cm from one end. The braid varies from 1.5cm to 2cm wide. Appears to have sediment in the fibers. The original tag in a separate bag that stated "45KI8/109" in black ink and "2S2-5" in pencil. Field Catalog Form lists the provenience as Unit 2S2, Level 5 (revised) and description as "1 large and 1 small frag braided reeds". Students noted the presence of white crystals on the surface of the cordage. This large fragment is associated with small frag 45KT20/109.2. (Pan Yi, 2/2/2010)

Bag 2 of three bags of basketry fragments and one chert flake. Bags are labeled, 416.1, 416.2, 416.3 and 416.4. No official label on bags and field catalog form states, "slough in pit, basketry fragment, braided cattail". No field notebook number. No excavator of date.
