One 2-strand twisted plant fiber fragment with decayed plant material(?) at one end. On previous tag written in black ink "45KI8/167", in pencil "3-3" and "q" on the back. Field Catalog Form confirms the provenience as Unit 3, Level 3 (27"), Braided cedar? cordage. I. Ostericher, 04/05/2011
Brown chert multiple-platcorm core. "45-KI-8/331" is written on one side in black ink.Field Catalog Form #331 lists the provenience as: Unit 3N1-2. The artifact is described as "2 flakes, charcoal, 1 piece bone, dung." To date, only 1 stone has been found. Artifact is associated with a Level Bag. (Pan, Yi, 2/25/2010)
One piece of dung. Two bags (bag 2 inside of bag 1) Previous tag in a separate bag lists as "45-KI-8/267"(crossed out) and in renumbers artifacts as "45-KI-8/3-2/#329?". Field Catalog Form 329 lists the provenience as Unit 3-2 and describes artifacts as: "2 dung, 3 grass, 29 pieces bone." To date, only the dung and grass sample have been found. Artifacts are associated with Level Bag. NOTE: The original number for this object is unknown. We presume the object was given #329 because the Field Catalog Form says the only dung and grass from Unit 3-2 is #329. We have assigned the grass and dung samples this arbitrary catalog number. I. One piece cordage. Its original tag was labeled "45-KI-8/360" in black in and "/6S1-1; d." in pencil on the opposite side of the tag. The Field Catalog Form lists the artifact's provenience as: Unit 6S1, Level 1, Vert. level and its description as: "2-S cord, cattail, cedar, 3 bones." Note: written on the Field Catalog Form reads: "Found 2-S cord-found ced." (S. Chappel 2/25/10)
Cordage fragment; 2-strand s-twist. Original tag reads, "45-KI-8/350" in black ink and "/5S1-1" in pencil. The back of the tag reads,"m". The Field Catalog Form indicates provenience as Unit 5S1 Level 1 and describes the artifact in a series as: "1 2-st. S cordage, 13 pieces bone, 2 flakes, 1 shell, 10 wood, looped reed." The artifacts are associated with a Level bag. Also noted in Field Catalog Form in pencil: "Found 2 wood and 1 looped reed bound together 1 2 S cordage." (S. Chappel 2/24/10)

Find #292 on the Field Catalog Form lists the provenience as: Unit B-Block B, Level 1, 8"(d), Description:2 2-z frags cordage &1 2-s cord [Note: this description does not match the artifact],Comments: "AF-162." Field #162 on the Field Notebook #1 lists "Unit: B, 8" below datum, 57" of NE, 17" of NW, Giesa, 7/20/53".
