One bag 6 pieces of wood. C-14 Sample #10. Field Catalog Form describes provenience as: "Unit 3S1-4, Level bag." The description reads: "Dung, 1 2-st. S cordage, 9 pieces bone, 4 wood, 1 reed." 45KT20/349.1 and 45KT20/349.2 are associated entries. 04/28/2011 I. Ostericher.
Bag of 6 bone fragments. C-14 sample #2. Tag says "C-14, Sample No. 5, 45KT20/520, Bone." The C-14 Samples list describes Sample #2 as "4 Bone splinters. Vantage Caves - Box 1.0." 45KT20/520 on the Field Catalog Form indicates the provenience as: "Unit 6S2, Level 1, Sample bone and vegetal material." One small chert scraper on red chert flake. Label reads "Unit 3S3 Level 2 'Level Bag.'" The original field catalog form has no mention of a stone scraper in its description of "Wood, bone", but on the later copy of the field catalog form, in pencil a note reads "1 chert scraper not listed in inventory, found bone." Because the chert scraper was not listed on the original form, the Unit and Level information is questionable. No artifact record number given. 04/26/2011 I. Ostericher.
Twined reed matting fragment. Field Catalog Form lists the object information as unit "4S2, vert. 3'6", Fragment, Twined reed matting." The object is associated with artifact #228 in the Artifact Record Book 2 which lists the unit as 4S2-4, the depth as 3'6". The tag also lists the unit as 4S2-4. 04/21/2011 I. Ostericher
"Fragment of finely-woven reed basketry" according to the Field Catalog Form. Unit 4N1 is written on the Field Catalog Form whereas unit 4S1 is written in the Artifact Record Book 2 for object #229.
