Frog brooch. A small brooch in the shape of a frog with all four legs extended (the left, rear leg extends further than the right). The pin features two large eyes, a wide mouth, and a bony framework outlined on the back. The surface is lightly stippled. The long pin on the reverse of the brooch extends diagonally from the left, front leg to the right, hind leg. Faint hand inscription on underside, in centre: “R'70 A/P”.

The Raven and the Big Halibut Fisherman2923/12

Black and red version of print. Depicted are: a left-facing man at the far right of the image; a right-facing raven at the far left of the image; and a vertical central halibut with its head toward the top of the image. The original paper has been folded over at the top and bottom edges (previous framing). Signed in pencil "Bill Reid" and "Bob Reid" below the right corner of the image and again at the bottom of the paper, with “150-5” in pencil.

Armband2919/21

Arm ring. The ring is made of woven reed and covered with black fibre, mud and white and rust coloured pigment. Several strands of twisted fibre are attached to one part of the ring by mud. The strands are divided into two bunches, each joined at the distal ends with a lump of mud that also holds feathers.

Bones Holder2919/17

Small wooden casket to hold bones. Object is made of a long, cylindrical piece of wood, hollow and open at both ends. The interior is raw and unfinished, while the exterior is smoother and painted in a pattern of black and white dots, white zigzagging lines, and a linear pattern in orange at one end.

Decorated wooden paddle-shaped club, narrow in profile, with a wide head tapering into a thinner handle. At the end of the handle a small hole has been bored partially through the wood. The paddle head is painted on both sides with patterns of dots, lines, circles and colour-blocks in yellow, white, rust, and brown, and the handle is painted rust.

Throwing Club2919/13

Wooden throwing club, rounded, with a thick head narrowing toward a long, thin handle. The handle is carved with slight ridges, the head with more pronounced and evenly spaced ones that meet in a point at the top. The club is painted with a dark brown to rust colour overall, with bands of yellow and black encircling just under the head.

Long, narrow wooden pipe made of a single piece of wood, partially hollow through the interior. A small tube of metal is embedded in and protrudes from the wood on one side. The pipe’s middle section is painted pink with repeating patterns of white and black shapes.

Dance Spear2919/10

Short ceremonial dance spear made of wood. A sharp point, painted dark orange, flares into a midsection delicately carved into five thin down-pointing blades and one short, thicker up-pointing blade on each side. The blades are elaborately painted in multiple colours, with patterns of lines, dots, and colour blocks. The handle is long, tapered and painted dark orange.
