Large hanging with gold designs on green ground. The designs include a cross within a circle in gold, surrounded by an overall floral motif in gold. There are tabs for hanging sewn to the top edge. The back lining is brown linen with the Tachi Omodaka crest repeated five times. The crest has a water plant (?) within a circle in black. There are six pairs of ties near the back bottom edge.

KimonoN2.215

Deep blue kimono (着物) with wide, short sleeves and centre opening. The lower half of the kimono is embroidered with cherry blossoms, pine trees and bamboo in gold, white and pink on a deep blue ground. The upper half has a single gold flower on either side of the opening. The inside lining is red and padded with cotton known as fuki (袘). It has five family crests or kamon (家紋) in the shape of sekichiku flowers (China pink/Dianthus chinensis) known as sekichiku (石竹).

Gold streaks and blue bamboo-like leaves on black background. End of sash at beginning of roll is a seam. The other end has Two sets of parallel gold bands and a plain black seamed edge. One edge running the length of sash is seamed, the opposite edge is folded.
