Skirt made with pieces of cotton fabric with raw edges joined by a two central embroidered strips to form a rectangular tube. The detailing consists of a horizontal pattern of two large bands of eleven red stripes on a very dark indigo ground. The edges have a thick red border. The central embroidered hand sewed pink and orange stripe runs horizontally.

Around the neck and on the edge of the cuffs are brightly coloured embroidered figures and geometric designs in orange, green, yellow, blue, purple and red. Woman's blouse: white ground with cross-stitching and appliqué bands. The blouse has a rounded neckline with blue, white and pink pleated bands. The short sleeves are pink and ruffled. On the upper front and back are three white panels with a peacock motif in dark red, orange, pink and green. On the lower front and back are three white panels with a floral motif in red, orange, pink and green. Below both panel sections are alternating bands of pink and blue. The inside is unlined.
