Carved wooden ladle with round bowl. The bowl has twenty-three drainage holes and four large holes oriented lengthwise in the centre. The handle narrows towards the rounded end and there is a hole in the end. The bottom of the bowl is rounded. The wood is a yellow-brown colour.

Carved wood figure of a human with arms folded against the chest so that the hands are upraised and the legs broken off and trimmed at the knee. A small hole extends from the back of each knee to the front. Face has grooved, circular, dark blue eyes with dark blue brows above, a plain triangular nose, and a wide protruding mouth. Hair has been engraved at the back of the head which has a cap on top. Painted features in blue, green. and yellow with detailing including dark hair, a yellow face, a yellow shirt that has dark blue buttons and arm bands, and dark blue suspenders and trousers.

Stylized notched arrow point shape cut from hide with single-coloured strands of beads sewn in concentric rows to it. Moving to centre, outermost border is a dark blue strand, followed by two yellow, and remaining central area in red until beadwork entirely covers area. Moving towards the centre, the outermost border is three red strands, followed by three light blue strands, with three dark blue strands in the centre. Hide entirely covered by beadwork. Black beads woven flat with two alternating evenly-spaced pink bead motifs at intervals along length. Both are cross designs, the shorter one with box motif, the longer with a diamond. Warps at each end of length tied off with two short sections of cord each. These are tightly wrapped with alternating pink and black beads. Tassled loops of strung beads in same colours attached to ends of cords.

Two medallions sewn together. Hide covered with cloth, beadwork over entire surface areas of both sides; sewn together with strands of black beads looped to cover joined medallions. Border only partial way around so opening is created, forming a pocket-like object. One side: white bead background with square of purple pink bordering blue. Attached to each corner, leaf-shaped motif of blue bordering green. Reverse: purple pink strands with small red bead sections arranged in concentric rows and alternated with two rows of light blue. Red alternating with light blue at centre.

Cod LureNbz688 a-c

Carved wooden lure (parts a-c), conical in shape. The body (part a) consists of a cone structure with a smaller cone mounted on top. Three, long wooden paddle-shaped projections are attached to the long cone with nails and are bound to the top with red cherry bark. Two projections are broken in half (part b-c), and the other is split lengthwise, at the bottom. There is an old adhesive, red and white label affixed to one half of broken projection that reads ‘Fish lure, Saanich Arm, 19-3’.

Rectangular cedar basket, flared, decreasing in size to the bottom. Tightly coiled with a slat bottom and a rim of narrow width bundles around which cedar is not coiled. Coiled cherry bark with row of beaded grass finishes top edge. Imbricated design of three horizontal zig zag rows of red and black cherry bark and yellow grass are along the sides.
