Brown wooden boomerang with smooth sides. The top side has a main design that consists of fine broken angular curving and horizontal zigzag lines; the bottom side is plain.
A small round wood bowl with a slightly flat rounded bottom and rounded sides tapering slightly inward toward the top. The outside of the bowl is brown with dark brown streaks and is polished. The inside of the bowl is plain.
Carved rubber (natural latex) figure: two monkeys pulling the tail of a snake that is curled around the upper trunk of a coconut tree. Situated next to the tree and monkeys is a large, jar-like container with a circular lid flanked by two branch-like protrusions. The entire figure is painted red, green, yellow and gold,and is mounted on a square rubber base with a black, carved border.
An elliptical, plaque-like rubber carving of a man's face--man is wearing an elaborate headdress and necklace. Object is three dimensional on the front and flat on the back; a loop for hanging is attached at the top. Entire figure is coloured brown, red, gold, green and purple.
Two carved rubber (natural latex) figures wearing headdresses, paddling a small boat with a shelter in the centre--both the stern and bow are curved sharply upwards. The entire figure is coloured red, green, yellow, brown, and gold--the rubber itself is coloured.
Jar with body that tapers from shoulders down to a rounded point at the base. Neck is straight; handles were attached to either side of neck at shoulder. Exterior has sea life accretions in grey, white, and brown. Coiled indents are visible on body under these accretions.
Apulian hydria. Red fine-grained body, dark brown wash; light brown, dark brown, brown/black, yellow, and white paint. Pedestal base. Flat foot; ovoid body with sloping shoulder and two horizontal handles; chimney neck with large everted rim, one vertical handle, neck to rim. Decoration: tongue pattern, lip and handles; palmette and laurel wreath with white berries. Main scene depicts bringing offerings to the tomb; draped female figures, holding a tambourine and a situla (basket), respectively, are shown on either side of a broad funerary stelae. Cracks cover body of jar as it has been reconstructed from fragments.
