White rectangular textile with lace border. The body of the textile is made of synthetic white netting with a narrow border of white lace in a floral pattern that has a thin, scalloped edge.
Olive green evening gown with detachable butterfly (parts b and c) sleeves. The dress has a short, strapless bodice. The front of is in a sheath style with the right side overlying the left and gathered into three loose pleats. The cut of the front panels is rounded, as is the bottom hem. The back of the gown has a large, rounded, loosely pleated panel of the same fabric sewn along the back midline that extends outwards from the main body of the dress in large folds. The back of the dress fastens with a metal zipper and five metal hooks with thread eyes. The interior of the dress is lined with black satin, while the sleeves are lined with black mesh.

Black velvet evening gown with detachable train and bow; and piece of scrap velvet fabric. The dress (part a) has puffed sleeves lined with mesh and elastic sewn inside the upper hems, and the bodice is gathered slightly in the front. The lower half of the gown is decorated with a curled, beaded vine pattern made with red beads and pink plastic leaves that extends around the back of the dress as well. The back is gathered slightly at the lower back, and the zipper that fastens the gown is visible in the back. The detachable train (part b) is triangular in shape and made from undecorated black velvet, as is the detachable flat bow (part c).
Green evening gown with two small decorative green fabric strips. The dress (part a) is made from shiny green fabric and flares out at the bottom. The dress is lined with yellow-brown synthetic fabric. The semi-detached puffed sleeves are large and stiff due to the mesh lining. The bodice and sleeves are decorated with looped rows of faux pearls, pearlescent white plastic sequins, and dark brown and translucent beads. The back of the dress fastens with a long metal zipper and a hook and eye. The two small strips (parts b and c) of green fabric are decorated with circular groupings of faux pearls.
Christening gown with collar. The dress is cream-coloured with embroidered decoration down front and back in panels. The bottom hem is in a stepped scallop shape with embroidered designs. On either side of the central back panel of embroidery are four sets of white mesh ribbons set into the fabric. The top back section of the bodice is embroidered with a large floral design with mesh insets. Two large white ribbon roses are fixed to the seam of the bodice and the skirt. The collar consists of two layers of sheer fabric embroidered around the borders and ties with a white satin ribbon. The lower layer also has an inset of white mesh ribbon, and both layers have scalloped and embroidered edges. The front of the dress fastens with two small pearlescent plastic buttons. The sleeves of the gown are gathered at the cuffs and have scalloped, embroidered edges.
String puppet (marioneta) of the character Neptune with carved wood face, a pointed beard tipped with a painted shell, pink lips, a long nose, black plastic eyes, sharply defined brow, short forehead and prominent ears. Small shells cover the scalp. A thin wooden stick protrudes from the back of the head and is the only method of controlling the puppet. Puppet’s torso is paper mache. Arms and hands are wood. Torso and arms are covered by decoupage in patterns coloured blue and red, while hands are painted light blue. The creature’s bottom is made entirely of thin, white, flowing plastic sheeting. A long blue cape attaches at the shoulder and hip by a beaded cross-chest belt and falls the length of the plastic bottom. Puppet’s hands and face are delicately carved and detailed. The trident (part b) is aluminum, with a long staff and three pronged head. The whole is wrapped with brass wire, with clear beads threaded on intermittently. Each prong is topped by a gold triangle.
Staff made of thick, stiff strands of dried grass, wrapped with raffia in an open weave to make up the handle. From the bottom protrudes a tuft of raffia, wrapped with a band of woven white fabric and grey plastic twine. Two circular patches of raffia are attached close to the base, topped with cowrie shells arranged in a flower motif. The top of the staff is covered in unbleached cotton, edged with two kinds of braided synthetic banding. Attached to the cotton are three small gourd rattles, also wrapped in open raffia weaving, each with a single cowrie shell and plastic bead decoration. Three lines of cowrie shells are glued to the cotton between the gourds.
Pearly queen costume cravat. Four wide layers of overlapping cream coloured lace with a teardrop motif and scalloped edge are attached to an oblong piece of white fabric backing. The cravat is attached around the wearer’s neck by a plain white fabric collar with a velcro closure at back.
